Program Manager - Change Orders
The Program Manager reports to a designatedManager, Director, Vice President or equivalent position, and performs specific duties based on assignment to a Department, Division or Unit within the SCA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage staff/consultants, coordinate, and/or assist with schedules and workload, and/or maintain assignment log, and/or conduct staff evaluations and approve timesheets
* Track staff hours on projects
* Lead or participate in meetings with various SCA departments and outside contractors/consultants, participate in negotiations and/or mediations, and review and/or make recommendations to management for approval on all proposed settlements
* Recommend approval of consultant and artist expenditures, and responsible for negotiating consultant fees and/or change orders
* Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, codes and standards, and tracking and ensuring approval from all regulatory agencies
* Participates in day-to-day operations to address and resolvespecific managerial, administrative and operational details
* Prepare and/or issue Construction Bulletins
* Track status of RFIs and Shop Drawings submittals and ensure timely turnaround
* Conduct site observations and prepare field reports
* Review and assess documents for quality, constructability, value engineering, commissioning, phasing and other design related criteria
* Assist Management with special projects and/or initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
* Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; **and**
* Specialty technical skills applicable to the areas to be assessed or evaluated; **and**
* Ten years of full-time work experience participating inthe negotiation, mediation, assessment and/or evaluation ofcosts associated with construction projects' components; five yearsmust be in an administrative or supervisory capacity; **or**
* A satisfactorycombination of education and experience.
